B: Oh, I almost forgot. Thanks for reminding me.　危うく忘れるところでした。思い出させてくれてありがとうございます。

* almost forgot: ほとんど忘れていた（過去形）、すなわち「危うく忘れるところだった」

・A: George said he forgot to reserve a meeting room.　ジョージが会議室を予約するのを忘れたって言っているけど。

B:Yeah, conveniently forgot.　ああ、忘れたふりをしているだけだよ。

*conveniently forget: 忘れたふりをする、覚えていないふりをする　一般的に考えれば、 Yeah, he conveniently forgot. のように he （主語）を入れたいところですが、通常は入れずに conveniently forgot とします。

*You conveniently forgot to tell me you missed the deadline.　都合よく締め切りに間に合わなかったって言い忘れていますね。

・A: I'm still waiting for your monthly report.　あなたの月間報告書を待っているだけど。

B: Oh, sorry, I'm getting so forgetful.　あ、すみません。忘れっぽくなっちゃって。

*get forgetful: 忘れっぽくなる、忘れやすい
